About Author

Husain A. Sattar, MD, born in Chicago, IL, graduated from the University of Chicago in 1993 and then completed his M.D. from the Pritzker School of Medicine, where he currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Pathology.

He underwent residency training in a combination of Anatomy and Clinic. University of Chicago Pathology Program (AP / CP), where he was appointed chief resident during his final year of training. Dr. Sattar is currently an assistant professor of pathology at the University of Chicago, where he serves as a full-time academic surgical pathologist specializing in breast pathology. An active scholar, Dr. Sattar is the author of several published research articles and abstracts and is the author of the chapter on female reproduction and breasts in the upcoming issue of Robbins’ Basic Pathology.
